Three waterproof flooring trends

Three waterproof flooring trends

People are clamoring for waterproof floors. Everyone leads busy lives these days and can't be worried about floors being destroyed by weather or ?oops? moments. Here?s some of what?s trending.

Waterproof (vinyl) floors: engineered luxury vinyl

This has only been on the market for a relatively short time. It, however, has already captured the attention of many homeowners.??This flooring is thicker and more durable than luxury vinyl (LVF). Let's put it in perspective; LVF is already up to?five times thicker than the original product! This is already one of the most popular waterproof flooring options.

What's more, it's constructed with the WPC (wood plastic composite) or SPC (stone plastic composite) cores. These cores won't peel or ripple, no matter how much water there is or for how long.

Laminate that stands up to liquid!

As many of us already know, excess liquid can damage wood floors. This laminate is constructed without wood, eliminating moisture concerns.

It can now be installed anywhere, including kitchens and baths. Just specify whether you want this or the original laminate.

Rigid core plank

These are 100% waterproof floors. They are engineered vinyl plank with an SPC (stone plastic composite core). These floors, terrific mimics of hardwood, also have the solid, firm feeling like that of authentic hard surfaces. Being vinyl, however, it's also somewhat warm and resilient, making it comfortable on which to stand or walk.

All floors we mentioned are stylish, being true-to-life echoes of wood, stone, and tile. They are also low maintenance, requiring only regular sweeping and periodic mopping, and installation is always the fast and easy floating floor.
